Differentiation

Blended and personalized schools differentiate instruction to help all students master content based on needs, strengths, and preference. Educators apply different instructional methods to help students master essential knowledge, concepts, and skills. These include modifications to practice (how instruction is delivered), process (how the lesson is designed), products (the kinds of work products students complete), content (the specific readings, research, or materials students engage with), and groupings (how students work together).
