Tool: Unlocking Time's School Time Assessment and Strategies

Get insights on the needs and opportunities with time, and explore strategies for innovating around time and schedules

Overview

Unlocking Time is a national project that empowers K-12 school leaders to adopt new time strategies that fuel student-centered learning. The project will provide new insights on how U.S. schools structure their time, produce a rich set of resources to help K-12 school leaders align time and resources with their values, and provision administrators from eligible high-need schools with new master scheduling tools and services to implement new time-based strategies.

The site has several resources for schools and educators looking to maximize time for learning in schools:

  • Time Strategies: Explore various strategies, spanning from the classroom level to the school system level, for innovating around time to maximize student learning.
