Overview
Total Language Response (TLR) is a way educators and students alike can use their body language and non-verbal cues to illustrate an idea, demonstrate mastery of material, or even discuss content with peers. Many times TLR is seen as purely a way to better communicate content and directions (from teacher to student) to support students who are learning English through non-verbal means, but it can also be a fun way to use your whole body to explain almost anything, which can give all students the opportunity to illustrate mastery and understanding in new ways.
