What are strategies and artifacts?

Throughout our website, you'll find many of our resources labeled as a "strategy" or an "artifact." We built the strategy cards as actionable illustrations of how to address specific challenges or topics – ranging from classroom practices to implementation guidance, and more. An artifact is attached to a strategy and offers a specific tool or example that can help you replicate the strategy in your own work.
For example, a strategy may demonstrate a classroom practice a teacher has used to personalize instruction for students, complete with context and information about what the teacher does, what students do, and what technology does to make this strategy work. An artifact attached to this strategy may take the form of a downloadable document that supports this strategy, such as a student self-assessment form.
