Adult Wellness Website for District Employees

A central hub supporting mental health for adults

Overview

To support district staff during the pandemic, Renton School District launched a website dedicated to adult wellness.

You are operating in increasingly difficult, exhausting, and ever-changing environments right now. Your feelings are valid, no matter what they are.” - Renton’s Adult Wellness site

Approach

The district created the internal Adult Wellness site using Google Sites. The central hub of resources focuses on mental health, curating a variety of activities, apps, exercises, and resources. The site includes:

  • Community healing spaces in the Renton area

  • Guided meditation videos

  • Mental health apps

  • Access to hotlines, among other resources.

By offering all of these resources in one place, district staff members are able to get the resources they need when they need it, at the click of a button. This also further illustrates that the district both understands this need and wants its staff members to focus on their wellness along with their students.
